Duncan Village-born fighter Ayabonga ‘JayJay’ Sonjica is set to fight against Ghanaian boxer Theophilus Tetteh in April. 
Sonjica and Tetteh, who is from Accra, are going to fight for the International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-featherweight title at the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino in Gqeberha on Saturday, 24 April. 
The Sonjica-Tetteh duel is on the undercard of knockout specialist Sivenathi ‘Special One’ Nontshinga’s IBF junior-flyweight elimination fight against Christian ‘The Bomb’ Araneta from the Philippines. The winner of the Nontshinga-Araneta contest will get a crack at current IBF junior-flyweight champion Felix Alvarado from Nicaragua.
