The disciplinary committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has found Cape Town City guilty following their failure to seek approval from the League before they concluded their sponsorship deal with the First National Bank (FNB).
The Citizens were fined R50 000 with R25 000 payable immediately while another R25 000 has been suspended for two years.
The DC also ordered the Citizens to pay the costs of the sitting of the DC, which set on Monday.
