Nothing made TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic happy than going to bed on Saturday night after having successfully saved his team from relegation.

The German-born coach came to the Rockets when they were down and out following Owen da Gama’s sacking in October last year.

And his mission, from the word go, had always been to save the Rockets from going down to the GladAfrica Championship.

“We came here to win. We knew we had 90 minutes. I didn’t care so much about our opponents. In the end, I’m just happy we scored,” Ramovic said after the Rockets’ 1-0 win over Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Saturday afternoon.

The Rockets were at the bottom of the DStv Premiership standings when Ramovic arrived at the team last October.

“The team almost fell apart. No structure. We showed the guys what’s important. It was almost impossible to save the team. We just worked hard, we stayed humble. A lot of players improved. They did an unbelievable job,” Ramovic remarked.
