Former professional boxer Nceba Dladla has revealed that his journey as a Boxing South Africa (BSA) manager in the Nelson Mandela Bay region has come to an end.

Dladla, a former school teacher, took over the role of BSA manager in the Nelson Mandela Bay region following the death of Mtunzi Mapitiza five years ago.

“This is to let you know that my contract with BSA as the provincial manager: Gqeberha has come to an end. l believe the office has appointed one person to look after both Gqeberha and Buffalo City as one Eastern Cape province,” Dladla, who is a former radio presenter, said.

“I now take this time to thank you for the times we shared, good and bad. Our love for the sport and commitment helped us achieve great things both individually and as a collective. l have, in the process, gained much knowledge through the experiences we shared and, as such, l leave office with no regrets.”

Meanwhile, Ink Sport has since established the identity of the person who is going to become the new BSA provincial manager in the Eastern Cape.
