Just a few days after signing a two-year deal management deal with Colin ‘Nomakanjani’ Nathan’s DOUBT Managament, Simnikiwe Bongco has lined a fight against unbeaten Ashington Ziwakaya from Zimbabwe.
The 22-year-old Bongco, who is trained by Shannon Strydom, will come up against one-fight Ziwakaya at the Box Camp in Booysens, Johannesburg, on Saturday, 13 July.
Duncan Village-born Bongco will go to his professional debut having amassed a number of medals in the amateur ranks. Bongco is regarded as the next big thing in South African boxing.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Ziwakaya from Kwekwe in Zimbabwe’s Midlands Province made a winning professional debut in September last year.
