INK SPORT is an online website founded by Monwabisi Jimlongo, a sport journalist with more than 20 years in the journalism field.
Monwabisi made history in 2011 when he became the first black sport editor at the Daily Dispatch since the newspaper started in 1872. He had the opportunity to cover the Korea/Japan 2002 FIFA World Cup finals, 2004 CAF Africa Cup of Nations finals in Tunisia, 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament as well as the 2013 and 2015 AFCON tournaments. He had the pleasure of covering the 2014 CHAN finals in South Africa. He has also covered boxing tournaments – provincial, national and world titles.
