The World Boxing Federation (WBF) Africa junior-featherweight bout between Thato Bonokoane and Tholumusa Ngema on Sunday, 24 October, is of major interest to Ayabonga Sonjica.
This is so because the winner of this fight is going to challenge Sonjica, who is the current South African junior-featherweight champion.
Sonjica’s title defence is going to be held on Sunday, 28 November in East London.
The boxer from Duncan Village has not fought since his win over Innocent Mantengu in September 2019.
