Former South African flyweight title contender Luthando Lekevane has passed away. He was 46.
Lekevane went the way of all flesh after he was shot at his home in Joe Slovo, Milnerton, Cape Town, on Sunday evening. According to information received by Ink Sport, Lekevane met his death at the hands of thugs.
Lekevane, who was born in Mdantsane, lost to Akhona Aliva in an SA flyweight title fight held at the Orient Theatre in East London in March 2006.
