Darwin Gonzalez Mendoza from Venezuela has extended his stay at Cape Town City after he signed a new two-year contract extension with the Citizens on Tuesday morning.
That the 29-year-old Venezuela had committed to staying in the Mother City was confirmed by the Citizens.
“We are delighted to announce that Darwin Gonzalez has signed a new two-year contract extension,” a Citizens statement said on Tuesday.
Gonzalez has been a key member of coach Eric Tinkler’s squad since joining the Cape club in 2022.
