The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that Morocco is going to host the final of the CAF Champions League on 30 May.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation as well as the Senegalese Football Federation had put bids to host the final. The Senegalese withdrew their bid thus making things easy for CAF to confirm Morocco as the hosts.

CAF also revealed that discussions are underway to go back to the two-legged (home and away) final to determine the winner of the Champions League.
