TS Galaxy midfielder Ethan Brooks is having a time of his life in the Bafana Bafana squad.
Brooks is part of coach Hugo Broos’ squad in camp ahead of back-to-back 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia.
“It’s really exciting for me to get another one. It’s not just any other call-up, it’s for the World Cup qualifiers. I’m learning a lot, that for my career is something that I’ve always wanted,” Brooks remarked.
With Bafana Bafana playing against the Ethiopians on Saturday and Tuesday, Brooks wishes to play a meaningful role in both matches.
“Everyone wants to go play against Ethiopia. I would like to contribute with goals, if not goals, with assists if I get a chance to play,” the 20-year-old player said.
