New Cape Town City signing Justin Shonga promises to deliver at the Citizens after joining the Mother City side from Limpopo club Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
Shonga, who is contracted to the Citizens until 2024, was released by Orlando Pirates to TTM before the beginning of the season.
‘‘I would like to appreciate the chairman of the club for considering signing me. Cape Town City is a good club with good players. I’m looking forward to fitting to the club and winning trophies,’’ said Shonga.
The 24-year-old Zambian-born Shonga has not hidden his excitement after joining the Citizens.
‘‘I’m so excited to be in this club, I’m so happy, I hope to work hard and win games. We will work hard for the people of Cape Town. I’m looking forward to good days here in Cape Town. We will keep on working hard,’’ he said.
