TS Galaxy coach Owen da Gama has given former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Shaun Bartlett a lifeline appointing him as his number two.
Bartlett had been without a club since he was fired by Chiefs together with former Amakhosi coach Ernst Middendorp just after the end of last season. Both Bartlett and Middendorp were casualties of Chiefs’ failure to win the league title.
”I recommended Shaun because I’ve worked with him in the past. I coached him at Bloemfontein Celtic when he came back from overseas” said Da Gama.
Bartlett is going to work with Da Gama, Essau Mtsweni, Ashley Makhanya and Phuphu Mohlaba.
