All four candidates running for the position of president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have been cleared by world football governing body FIFA.
Patrice Motsepe from South Africa, Ahmed Yahya from Mauritania, Senegalese Augustin Emmanuel Senghor and Ivorian Jacques Anouma are vying for the CAF top position.
The elections are going to be held in Rabat, Morocco, on Friday, 12 March.
Motsepe, 58, is a South African businessman and is also the president of league champions Mamelodi Sundowns while 44-year-old Yahya is the president of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (FFRIM), an organisation he has led since 2011 and is currently serving his third term.
Yahya has been a member of the CAF executive committee since 2017 and also sits on the organising committee of FIFA competitions.
Senghor, who is 55 years old, is the president of the Senegalese Football Federation since August 2009. He is also a member of the CAF executive committee since February 2018.
Anouma, 69, once served in the FIFA executive committee and is a former president of the Ivorian Football Federation. He is now the honorary president of the Ivorian Football Federation.
