Eva Nga Bienvenu felt the sweet taste of scoring a goal after shooting blanks for a long time and is now itching to net more goals as his team Chippa United’s battle to move up the DStv Premiership standings intensifies.
The Chilli Boys welcome TS Galaxy at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday (15h30).
“We worked very hard for this game. We know TS Galaxy, we must give everything like we did in the last game against Bloemfontein (Celtic). We must get the three points, that is very important,” Eva Nga said.
The former Bidvest Wits forward came on as a substitute and scored the Chilli Boys’ equaliser during their 1-1 draw with Celtic last Saturday.
“I was so happy, I had not scored in a long time. We kept pushing together and getting the one point was very important,” Eva Nga, who has scored four goals this season, said.
“The plan is to win on Saturday. I need to score another goal to get more confidence. I will give all my best.”
The Chilli Boys beat the Rockets 1-0 the last time the two sides met in the first round.
