Bafana Bafana overcame COVID-19 scares to win the COSAFA Cup tournament after they beat Senegal 5-4 on penalties at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha on Sunday evening.
The match had to be decided on penalties after both sides failed to find the back of the net in two hours of football.
Bafana, who won the COSAFA Cup for the fifth time, didn’t concede in regulation time in the six matches they played.
