No goals were scored in the second MTN8 semi-final first leg, which was between Cape Town City and Swallows FC at the Athlone Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Citizens put up a dominant performance enjoying the lion’s share of of the ball possession. They, however, failed to put the ball behind Swallows goalkeeper Virgil Vries.
Khanyisa Mayo and Surprise Ralani troubled Swallows on many occasions, but still couldn’t find the back of the net.
Meanwhile, the two clubs are going to face each other again in the second leg at the Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday, 29 September.
