Sabelo Ngebiyana has decided to move up two divisions from junior-bantamweight to junior-featherweight.
Komani-born Ngebiyana has revealed that he moved up because of ‘lack of action’ in the junior-bantamweight division.
“Yes, l am a junior-feather now. There is not much happening in the junior-bantamweight thus l decided to move up because there’s more competition in the junior-featherweight.”
The 30-year-old Ngebiyana has made it clear that he’s no rush to challenge South African junior-featherweight champion Ayabonga Sonjica.
“Yes, I would love to fight against Sonjica. But l have to cement myself as a junior-featherweight first before challenging him,” Ngebiyana said.
