The All Blacks proved too strong for Argentina as they cruised to a 39-0 win in a Rugby Championship encounter at the CBUS Super Stadium in Queensland, Australia, on Sunday.
Coach Ian Foster’s team scored their first try through Rieko Ioane in the 10th minute and Beauden Barrett duly added two points.
The All Blacks applied more pressure, but the Argentines stood firm defending their territory.
Six minutes before interval, Beauden Barrett converted a penalty to make it 10-0. Three minutes later, Sevu Reece scored the All Blacks’ second try and Beauden Barrett missed the conversion.
Argentine flanker Pablo Matera was yellow carded by match referee Nic Berry after he killed the ruck before half time.
Immediately, the All Blacks scored their third try through Dalton Papalii and Jodie Barrett converted to make it 22-0 at interval.
The All Blacks had a bright start in the second half with Luke Jacobson crossing the try line following a beautiful offload by Beauden Barrett in the 46th minute. Jordie Barrett converted to make it 29-0.
All Blacks eighthman Jacobson scored his second try of the match in the 70th minute and Jordie Barrett made no mistake adding two more points.
Fullback Jordie Barrett added three more points after he converted a penalty in the 78th minute to make it 39-0.
