Mamelodi Sundowns earned three valuable points after they beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 in a DStv Premiership encounter at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Sunday evening. 
This match started in a fierce pace with both clubs making forays into each other’s half. 
It was the Brazilians who scored in the eighth minute after Grant Kekana jumped high and headed in to give Sundowns the lead.
After the goal, action swung from one end to the other with both sides looking for goals. Sundowns held on to their lead until the end of the first half.
The pace of the match at the beginning of the second half was the same as it was at the start of the first stanza. 
Peter Shalulile sneaked in to score the Brazilians’ second goal in the 63rd minute. 
Second half substitute Lebo Manyama missed a penalty in the 81st minute after Rivaldo Coetzee had handled inside the box.
