Cape Town City are going to play against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 final on Saturday, 30 October. 

The Citizens set up a date with the Brazilians following a 4-0 win over Swallows FC in a semi-final second leg match at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto on Wednesday evening. 

The Citizens and the Dube Birds drew 0-0 in the first leg match played at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town last month. 

Surprise Ralani scored a brace while the other goals came from Fagrie Lakay and Edmilson Dove.

Ralani scored his first goal of the match in the 42nd minute following a cross from Terrence Mashego. Ralani chest trapped the ball before shooting past Swallows goalkeeper Virgil Vries.

Lakay made it 2-0 after receiving a pass from Thabo Nodada in the 58th minute. Ralani completed his brace in the 68th minute following a good move by Mduduzi Mdantsane and Nodada. Dove headed in Mpho Makola to make it 4-0 in the 88th minute. 

Meanwhile, Sundowns beat Lamontville Golden Arrows 3-0 in Atteridgeville on Tuesday evening. 

The Brazilians won 4-1 on aggregate having drawn 1-1 in the first leg match played in Durban last month.
