Johannesburg-based Malawian boxer lsaac Chilemba is scheduled to fight against Pavel Silyagin from Russia next month.
The World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver super-middleweight title fight is set for Moscow, Russia, on Friday, 12 November. Initially, the fight was scheduled for Friday, 5 November.
This is going to be the second visit to Russia this year by the 34-year-old Chilemba, who hails from Blantyre in Malawi. The former International Boxing Organisation (IBO) super-middleweight champion drew with Russian Fedor Chudinov in February this year.
The Malawian is more experienced compared to Silyagin, having registered 26 wins (10 knockouts), seven losses and three draws while the Russian, 28, is unbeaten in eight fights with four stoppages.
