Coach Desiree Ellis is looking forward to Banyana Banyana’s African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
Banyana Banyana, who arrived in Mozambique on Monday, face the Mozambicans at Estadio Nacional do Simpeto in Maputo on Wednesday.
“The training went very well. Everybody is upbeat and looking forward to the match,” Cape Town-born Ellis said.
“We have to make sure that we get off to a good start. The first leg is always vital.”
The two teams met in the COSAFA Women’s Championship in Gqeberha earlier this month with Banyana Banyana defeating the Mozambicans 3-1.
