Former Kaizer Chiefs and AmaZulu striker Shaun Bartlett has found a new home after leaving DStv Premiership club TS Galaxy recently.
The former Bafana Bafana striker has joined struggling GladAfrica Championship side Cape Town Spurs as their new coach.
Spurs have been coachless since they fired Dylan Deane for poor results last week. Calvin Marlin was caretaker coach during the team’s goalless draw with Platinum City Rovers on Sunday.
“I am excited about the appointment. It caught me by surprise having only left my previous employer not too long ago,” Bartlett said.
The former Spurs forward is going to be in the bench when the Urban Warriors clash with the University if Pretoria away in Wednesday.
