Zimbabwe’s Khama Billiat has retired from international football to concentrate on playing for his club Kaizer Chiefs.
The 31-year-old Billiat, who was born in Harare, made the announcement on Monday evening.
“It was all a dream. When I was young, I always dreamt of representing the country, playing for the national team,” a statement from Billiat said.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Ajax Cape Town striker made his last appearance in Zimbabwe colours during the Warriors’ 1-1 draw with Ethiopia in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
