Azinga ‘Golden Boy’ Fuzile and his foe Kenichi Ogawa from Japan have contrasting knockout percentages going to their world title fight in the United States on Saturday evening (Sunday morning, South African time).
The two gladiators face off in a vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) junior-lightweight title fight at the Hulu Theatre in Madison Square Garden, New York City, United States.
The 25-year-old Fuzile has a 60 percent knockout ratio compared to the Japanese’s 72. Fuzile has gone 108 rounds while Ogawa finished 151.
Fuzile has registered 15 victories with nine knockouts and an only blemish to his record is a September 2019 stoppage loss to Tajikistan boxer Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old Ogawa has a professional record of 25 wins with 18 knockouts and a defeat. Ogawa’s single loss was a stoppage he suffered to his compatriot Yuki Miyoshi in August. He, however, avenged that defeat when he stopped Miyoshi in November 2013.
