Kaizer Chiefs have written to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) asking for the postponement of their five matches starting with Saturday’s clash against Cape Town City.
This comes after COVID-19 hit Chiefs hard with no less than 31 personnel testing positive for the coronavirus. And as a result of that, Kaizer Chiefs Village has temporarily been closed until next week.
Amakhosi have asked the PSL to postpone matches against the Citizens, Lamontville Golden Arrows (Wednesday, 8 December), Sekhukhune United (Sunday, 12 December), Royal AM (Sunday, 19 December) and Maritzburg United (Wednesday, 22 December).
