The disciplinary committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has fined Cape Town City R100 000 after the Citizens failed to produce player cards during their match against Maritzburg United last month.
Half of the fine has been suspended for 12 months while R50 000 is payable within 30 days. The Citizens were also ordered to pay costs of the DC sitting.
The Citizens found themselves in the dog box after their player cards were stolen when their manager Moenier Davids’ car was broken into.
