The Proteas have whitewashed India as they beat the visitors by four runs in the third and final one day international (ODI) at Newlands, Cape Town, on Sunday evening.
Chasing 288 to win after the Proteas were bowled out for 287 in 49.5 overs, India only scored 283 runs in 49.2 overs.
Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock starred with the bat, top scoring with 124 runs from 130 deliveries and Rassie van der Dussen smashed 52 off 59 balls.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli top scored for India with 65 runs from 84 balls while Shikhar Dhawan hit 61 after facing 73 deliveries.
