Mamelodi Sundowns began their CAF Champions League Group A campaign with a 1-0 win over Sudanese side Al Hilal Omdurman at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Phokeng, Rustenburg, on Friday evening.
Sundowns star midfielder Themba Zwane scored the only goal of the match netting for the Brazilians in the eighth minute.
The Tshwane giants might have won the match, but it has to be said that they survived scary moments, especially in the second half.
