Moroccan giants Raja Club Athletic beat AmaZulu 1-0 in a CAF Champions League Group B match at Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, Morocco, on Saturday evening.
Veteran midfielder Mohsine Moutaouali scored the only goal of the match when he put the ball through Veli Mothwa’s legs in the 68th minute.
The goal spurred on the Green Devils as they went forward with an aim of doubling their lead. However, they found Mothwa equal to the task as he thwarted their attempts.
Usuthu will now be at home to Horoya AC from Guinea at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban next Friday while Raja travel to Algeria for a date with ES Setif.
