Ronwen Williams has admitted that it’s not easy to play against the same club in a space of a week as his team SuperSport United clash with Maritzburg United in a DStv Premiership encounter away at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Tuesday evening (19h30).
Matsatsantsa a Pitori defeated the Team of Choice 1-0 in a Nedbank Cup last-32 clash at the same venue last Wednesday and Williams wants the repeat of the same thing.
“Difficult going to Maritzburg. Not an easy side to play. We are looking forward to the league game. It’s always positives and negatives playing the same team in a space of a week,” the Matsatsantsa captain remarked.
“The positives obviously we beat them, negatives are they want revenge and are gonna come guns blazing. We need to be up to the challenge. We have prepared well, the mentality has been the same. We know them, we know their strengths, we know their weaknesses, we know what they are about. We want to climb the log.”
Matsatsantsa are sixth on the Premiership table with 26 points from 17 matches and a win will move them to third place on the log. On the other hand, the Team of Choice are 13th with 15 points in 18 games. They will go one place up if they win or draw on Tuesday.
