Charles Yohane, a former Bidvest Wits and Caps United left back, has been killed following a hijacking in Johannesburg. He was 48.
The former Zimbabwean international’s body was found in Mzimhlophe, Soweto, after he was hijacked over the weekend.
Yohane played 23 times for the Zimbabwean national team and was in the Warriors squad, which took part in the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Tunisia.
He had the most appearances – 268 – at Wits where he played between 1997 and 2006. He also played for African Wanderers, AmaZulu and FC AK.
