Sekhukhune United humiliated struggling Baroka FC 4-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Emirates Airline Park Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday evening.
Things started to go wrong for Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele when Justin Shonga gave Babina Noko the lead in the third minute. The goal came after Bakgaga goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze failed to handle Yusuf Maart’s attempt. Chipezeze parried the ball straight to Maart, who laid it off for Shonga to score on debut.
Chibuike Ohizu doubled Babina Noko’s lead with a well-worked effort in the 24th minute. Ohizu completed his brace in the 69th minute after he capitalised on a defensive blunder by the Bakgaga rearguard.
Vusumuzi Mncube, a second half substitute, put the matter beyond Bakgaga’s reach as he made it 4-0 with a fierce shot in the 80th minute.
