Cape Town City bagged three points after they defeated Lamontville Golden Arrows 1-0 in a DStv Premiership clash at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Second half substitute Khanyisa Mayo, who came in for Mogamat May, netted the only goal of the match from a free kick in the 78th minute.
Mthatha-born Mayo had only been on the field for 11 minutes when he scored from a free kick giving Arrows goalkeeper Nkosingiphile Gumede no chance.
