Sabelo Ngebiyana is in his second week of preparations for his 22 April fight against Ashley Sexton from Edmonton, North London, in the United Kingdom.
Ngebiyana and Sexton are due to clash in a vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) International bantamweight title bout at the York Hall in London, United Kingdom.
“We are busy with my trainer Bruno Pereira. We are working very hard preparing for this important fight,” Komani-born Ngebiyana said.
The 29-year-old Ngebiyana, a former South African junior-bantamweight champion, has not fought since his loss to Armenian Narek Abgaryan at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia, last August.
Meanwhile, 34-year-old Sexton’s last fight was a win over Nicaraguan Jose Aguilar in a six rounds bout in June last year.
