The World Boxing Federation (WBF) All Africa junior-middleweight title remains vacant after South African boxer Junior Makondo and Jacques Muvud from the Democratic Republic of Congo drew at the Kagiso Memorial Hall in Kagiso, Krugersdorp, on Sunday.
This was a thrilling fight with both boxers out to claim the title, however there was no winner in the end as the judges declared it a majority draw.
On the other hand, Khaya Busakwe successfully defended his Gauteng lightweight title following a draw with Talent Baloyi.
Meanwhile, South African female lightweight champion Kholosa Ndobayini defeated Zimbabwean Cecilia Pitiseni on points.
