Marumo Gallants have advanced to the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup after a 1-0 win over their neighbours Baroka FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday.
After missing a number of chances in both halves, Gallants finally found the back of the net through Sede Junior Dion.
The Ivorian, who came in as a substitute replacing Lerato Lamola at the beginning of the second half, headed Monde Mphambaniso’s cross past Baroka goalkeeper Elvis Chipezeze in the 80th minute.
