Keshav Maharaj’s wonderful bowling was key to the Proteas’ 332-run victory over Bangladesh on day four of the second Test at St George’s Park in Gqeberha on Monday. 

Bangladesh were bowled out for 80 in their second innings with Maharaj taking seven wickets for 40 in 12 overs and three maidens.

Maharaj took two wickets for 57 runs and sex maidens in Bangladesh’s first innings. He also excelled with the bat scoring 84 from 95 deliveries in the Proteas’ first innings. Maharaj has now taken 150 Test wickets.

Meanwhile, the Proteas beat the Asians by 220 runs in the first Test played at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban.
