Durban-based Premier Division club Lamontville Golden Arrows have confirmed that they have sacked their coach Lehlohonolo Seema.
The former Chippa United and Black Leopards coach’s sacking follows a day after Arrows were clobbered 6-0 by high riding Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Seema joined Abafana Bes’thende from the Chilli Boys during preseason and it was expected that he would improve Arrows’ fortunes after they finished fourth under Mandla Ncikazi last season. However, that didn’t happen as the Durban side continued to blow hot and cold.
The former Lesotho international had the dubious honour of being fired twice by two clubs last season. He was sacked by the Chilli Boys and went on to join Leopards, who later chopped him. He then rejoined the Chilli Boys.
Meanwhile, Vusumuzi Vilakazi and Mabhuti Khenyeza are going to coach Arrows on an interim basis until the end of the current season.
