Tanzanian club Simba SC defeated Orlando Pirates 1-0 in a CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final first leg at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania, on Sunday evening.
Tanzanian Shomari Kapombe broke the deadlock in the 68th minute after he beat Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori from the penalty spot.
The Buccaneers and Simba are going to meet in the second leg scheduled for the Orlando Stadium in Soweto next Sunday.
