Sibusiso Zingange is going to make the first defence of his South African junior-lightweight title next month just three months after winning the crown.
The 29-year-old Zingange is scheduled to come up against Lunga Sitemela from Cape Town at the EFC Centre in Johannesburg on Thursday, 26 May.
Zingange, who is based in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, won the national title after he put up a dominant performance against former champion Phila Mpontshane from Mdantsane at the same venue in February.
Meanwhile, the last time Sitemela laced his gloves was when he lost to Tajik Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov in a World Boxing Council (WBC) International junior-lightweight title fight at the RCC Boxing Academy in Ekaterinburg, Russia, in March last year.
