TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramovic has given credit to his players following a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership match at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Monday afternoon.
This was a massive win for the Rockets as they are trying their best to make sure that they avoid the drop or finishing in a play-off spot at the end of the season.
As a result of Monday’s victory, the Rockets have moved up two positions – from 15th to 13th on the Premiership standings.
“Thanks to the supporters. Congratulations to the opponent for a fair game. We had a game plan,” the German-born coach said.
The Rockets won the match through Lifa Hlongwane’s first half goal after a pass from veteran midfielder Lindokuhle Mbatha.
“I played with one of the best players. They stuck to the plan. We were in absolute control,” the 43-year-old Ramovic from Stuttgart said.
“We forced the opponent to play in the space we wanted to play in. It was a fantastic game. We had to win. It’s not easy to play with this kind of pressure. Credit to my guys.”
