Swallows FC stole a point when they drew 2-2 with SuperSport United in a DStv Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Friday evening.

Matsatsantsa a Pitori took the lead through Keegan Johannes, who scored his third goal of the season in the eighth minute.

Johannes capitalised on a communication breakdown between Swallows defender Junaid Sait and goalkeeper Jody February following Keenan Phillips’ free kick.

Five minutes into the second half the Dube Birds equalised through Ruzaigh Gamildien, who was their top goal scorer last season

Iqraam Rayners restored Matsatsantsa a Pitori’s lead after he received a pass from Gamphani Lungu in the 71st minute.

Swallows fought hard and were awarded a penalty after Rasebotja fouled Kagiso Malinga in added time. Dillan Solomons converted from the spot kick to make it 2-2.
