Stellenbosch FC registered their first win over Mamelodi Sundowns when they whipped the Brazilians 3-0 in a DStv Premiership match at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria on Saturday afternoon.
Ashley du Preez netted a brace – a goal in each half – while Stellies’ third goal came from Jayden Adams.
This was the third time the Tshwane giants lost a match this season and it was their first home loss since April 2021.
