Ludumo ‘9mm’ Lamati defeated Tanzanian boxer Haidari Mchanjo on points at the Booysens Boxing Gym in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Lamati, who last fought in June last year, dominated Mchanjo and got the nod from all three judges.
Both Siyabulela Mani and Thabo Spampool’s score cards read 90-100 while Tony Nyangiwe scored it 92-97.
It, however, has to be said that that was not the vintage Lamati even though he won the battle against Mchanjo.
