Greenhorn Asemahle Wellem will be back in action when he faces Kongolo Tshimanga from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at the Orient Theatre, East London, on Sunday, 3 July.
Chintsa-born Wellem, who is trained by Vusi Mtolo in Edenvale, Ekurhuleni, is unbeaten in two fights after making his professional debut last year.
He announced his arrival in the professional ranks with a stoppage win over Tsebo Malope last July. Wellem, who campaigns in the super-middleweight division, then went on to register a points win over Jackson Masamba from the DRC in December last year.
