The University of Pretoria were not in action yet they benefitted when Cape Town All Stars defeated Swallows FC 2-1 in a PSL promotion/relegation match at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch on Saturday afternoon.

All Stars came back from 1-0 down with a minute to go and beat Swallows with goals from Ronaldo Maarman and Ndiviwe Mdabuka.

Maarman cancelled Grant Magerman’s 63rd minute goal when he equalised for All Stars in the 89th minute. Mdabuka netted the winning goal from the penalty spot in added time after Wandisile Letlabika had handled inside the box.

The Dube Birds need to beat AmaTuks when they meet in Atteridgeville on Wednesday if they want to remain the DStv Premiership. AmaTuks have five points from three matches while the Dube Birds have four points in three games.
