South African boxer Hekkie ‘Hexecutioner’ Budler and his adversary Elwin ‘La Pulga’ Soto from Mexico made the required weight with ease ahead of their fight on Saturday (Sunday morning, South African time).

Both Budler and Soto tipped the scales at 48,9 kilograms as they are going to clash in a World Boxing Council (WBC) junior-flyweight elimination bout at Palenque Fex in Mexicali, Baja California, in Mexico.

This is a very important fight for both boxers as the winner will challenge reigning WBC junior-flyweight champion Kenshiro ‘The Amazing Boy’ Teraji from Japan.

Teraji reclaimed his title when he stopped his countryman Masamichi Yabuki in the third round during their rematch in March. Yabuki stunned Teraji with a 10th round stoppage in September last year.
