The revival of boxing in the Eastern Cape went into overdrive when a provincial belt was unveiled at the East London International Convention Centre (ICC) on Friday.
The unveiling of the provincial belt was spearheaded by the Department of Sport , Recreation, Arts and Culture in the Eastern Cape through its MEC Fezeka Nkomonye.
DSRAC has partnered with Boxing South Africa (BSA) to make sure that 12 tournaments are hosted in the province in this financial year. The tournaments are going to be financed by DSRAC.
A number of promoters have been selected and will do development tournaments, which will include Eastern Cape titles.
